Would-be rescuers make up the largest group of fatalities in confined space incidents. Tragically, statistics show that six out of ten fatalities in confined spaces are rescuers attempting to save others without proper training or equipment.

To mitigate this risk, employers are legally required to provide a dedicated and capable rescue plan for any confined space entry.

VooDoo Rescue’s Confined Space Standby Teams are composed of trained professionals—current and former rescue personnel from both public and private sectors. Our team members bring years of hands-on experience managing confined space operations involving hazardous atmospheres, entrapment and engulfment risks, and vertical or high-angle environments.

Each team is fully equipped and operationally ready. All members are trained and qualified in gas detection and standby procedures, with at least one team member certified in first aid. In addition, every team member meets the competency requirements for the role of Entry Supervisor.
